AUDITION

Would you like to play at a high level in the most fun student orchestra, go abroad on tour and give concerts in the most beautiful halls? Can you rehearse on Wednesday evening? Then come join the VU-Orchestra!

Do you already play a string instrument and would you like to play double bass in an orchestra? Then you may be eligible for our basklas (double bass class)! Mail to strijkerschef@vu-orkest.nl for more information about the bass class.

We rehearse every Wednesday from 19:30-22:30 at the New University Building of the VU (NUVU). Do you want to test out the waters? You can check our instagram for more information about the open rehearsal. 

During the audition you will be asked to play a solo piece, and the orchestra fragments. These will be sent to you after you’ve filled out the form. The audition will last for about 15 minutes.
