Auditions are at the beginning of each orchestra season: August / September or February, for the upcoming programme. Musicians are welcome at any time to sign up for an audition: please contact the orchestra managers.

The VU-Orkest rehearses every Wednesday evening from 19.30 - 22.30 at the Cultuurcentrum Griffioen, which is located at Uilenstede 106 in Amstelveen. In addition to this, there is at least one rehearsal weekend and at least one extra rehearsal day per programme (there are normally two programmes per year). For brass and percussion there will be an adapted schedule.
